Hey Fransisco, my name is Juan Loya and I am a masters student at the University Of North Texas, I am majoring in Public Administartion and hope to be done with my masters in May of 2019. I did my bachelors here at UNT as well focused on Public Administration, Political Science, and Business. I graduated in May of 2017 with that degree. This semester i am taking 3 courses, Managing Local Government, Revenue, Policy, and Administration, and Managing Human Resources.
ReplyDeleteI am currently the Deputy District Director for Young Adults for North Texas LULAC and I advise all the young adult councils in the area. I am also a brother of Lambda Theta Phi Latin fraternity Inc. I like to do a lot of political involvement around campus like voter registration and advocacy for issues like DACA, education, and civil rights. I like to travel a lot as well, I go to Washington DC at least once a year to advocate and speak to our congressman on issues. I also like to go jogging, watch anime, movies, Disney. I also enjoy helping other people out with whatever i can whether it be mentoring, or connecting people with resources they need. I hope to hear back from you soon.

Hi juan I am your new pen pal Leanne.I am a 6th grader at the young women's Leadership Academy.I am 11 years old and my birthday is on june 11.My hobbies are a painting, crafting, and baking.My favorite things to bake is cupcakes, cakes, and cheese cakes.My favorite food is pizza and sometimes tacos. I am taking an engineering class that teaches me about Robotics and measuring. I have three pets, to shih tzu's,and one boxer. Some things I did over the spring break we're going to Traders Village, there we rode the mechanical games.My favorite game of all was the bumper cars I also went to see the movie Peter Rabbit. ReplyDeleteMy name is Emanuel Velazquez and I am a senior at the University of North Texas. I will graduate this May with a Biology major and a Chemistry minor. The classes that I am taking this semester are Medical Bacteriology (where I am learning about bacteria and viruses and how they make people healthy or sick) and Comparative Animal Physiology (where I am learning about how we study the way animals function in order to learn more about humans function). One of my favorite things to do is eat, I am always eating something because food is good and I love food. I also like to play video games (especially FIFA), sports, and watch anime.
I am getting my degree in biology because I want to become a Dentist. I am currently working at a Dental office as a dental assistant and I am learning a lot of things that will help me out with my career. During my time on campus I have been involved in several student organizations because I like doing community service, meeting new people, and becoming a leader. I am a brother of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. and this organization helps me do what I mentioned as well as provide me with mentors and family-like friendships. I also worked as a mentor for first generation college students for 3 years. this helped me learn a lot about the struggles first generation students go through and how to help out. So if you or your family has any questions about college feel free to let me know and I will do my best to answer them.

ReplyDeleteMy name is Juan Loya and I am your pen pal we met last week at your Christmas Party. So right now I am on my last year of my masters degree in Public Administartion. I am takin 3 classes this semester and am getting reaady for finals this upcming week. I am taking a American political science class, a budgeting class, and a statistics and methods class at the moment.
I will be going to Colorado for Christmas with my family so I am excited, i know it will be cold with a lot of snow but pretty. I like to travel a lot when I can, i want to go to France and Italy one day soon. Where would you want to go to?
I really like movies especially animated and Disney ones.
