I hope this letter/blog finds you doing well young lady. First off, my name is Brenda Hernandez and I am journalism student at the University of North Texas in Denton, Tx. Most of the classes I am taking this semester are reading and writing classes. These two subjects are essential in journalism and really in any aspect. So if you want to be a teacher, an engineer, doctor, lawyer having good writing and reading skills will help you a lot in every field.
At the moment my internship is my main extracurricular activity. I am working with the city's online newspaper as a reporter and video intern. Meaning I go out into the city and cover breaking news or look for interesting stories in the area and report on them. I enjoy talking to people and listening to what makes them "unique" I believe everyone has a story to tell and I am sure you do too!
What about you Ms. Zaragoza? Tell me everything about yourself! Make it as long or short as you would like I AM ALL EARS!

Hello Brenda, My name is Arianna Z. I 'am 8 years old, my favorite color is pink. I have 4 dogs their names are oso, Max, chiquilino, chiquelina.I like to do math and science and play tag. I also like going roller skating, I have my own pink skates. I like to help people. I want to be in cheerleading when I get older. when I grow up I want to be a Math teacher. when I'm at school I learn about Math, science. My favorite food is tamales, tacos, pollo. Yes, the color pink is the best color in the whole color circle!!!!! Especially when you add some glitter:)
What did you learn in school this week young lady? What are you learning in math class? Math is a really hard subject and it's good that you have an interest in it now, so that when you are older be easier! Are you excited to almost have your spring break?
Hi Brenda, How are you doing? This week I learned about math,I learned addition, multiplication, subtraction. I learn in science I learned about Los seres vivos y Los seres vivos son aire, comida, agua donde vives. Yes pink is the best color ever!!!!! I'm very excited for spring break, I will be traveling to Corpus Christi Texas. I like to read books sometimes and I like to write about your favorite things, so tell me Brenda what is your favorite book? is it Dr.Seuss? Are you ready for spring break? I'm excited to finally meet you on Friday March 23rd would you be there?

Yes Dr. Seuss is a really good author.The last book I've read from him is called "Oh the places you will go," that book has a lot of meaning to young people like yourself and adults like myself!

My spring Break was not that good we had to cancel our Corpus Christi trip due to my grandpa being in the hospital. I felt sad for my grandpa. I stay with my grandpa in the hospital since Thursday. I played with my cousin Dafne and we play minecraft and I was a survivor on the game. I also drew Night-foxx and Baby-foxx.Im very excited to finally meet you.I started reading chapter books.I was very excited to read chapter books, I'am in level 2 and the color is dark green and I'am in page 44 and 45 on book The friendship of Milly and Tug. well how was your spring break? Did you go anywhere? Well Miss Brenda I will see you on Friday. Take Care.

It may be a little early for me to tell you this but just know that whatever you want to do in life YOU CAN DO IT.
At this point in your early life .... I would advise you to learn good studying habits and explore as many activities as you can. I hope we can stay in touch for many years. Don't ever hesitate to ask me any questions on anything!
