THOUGHTS AND REFLECTIONS

Our Discover College Life Project Awards Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, April 27th at 6:30 p.m. at Dolores Huerta Elementary. Please take some time to share and post some of your fondest memories of this year; an interesting anecdote or story for our blog. Wishing you all good luck with your final exams and thank you for making this year's Discover College Life project a success.

    Hello everyone,
    My name is Evelyn Moncivais and I am a graduating senior at Texas Woman's University. I am graduating in two weeks with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Although I was not able to participate in as many DCLP activities this year due to my busy schedule, it always made me so happy and excited to see all the pen pals enjoying their time touring UNT and learning about what college has to offer. My favorite moment was receiving a video Of my pen pal Natalie Pule while she was at UNT. I was finally able to see what she looked like and learn a bit more about her and her likes. She seemed like a very sweet and intelligent young lady. I can't wait to meet her tonight at the award ceremony!
    I look forward to the award ceremony and to continue staying connected to DCLP after my graduation.
